Discover The Pit during Open Monument Day

The former mining site of Heusden-Zolder is starting a new chapter as 'The Pit'. Where miners used to head down to 'the pit', a vibrant hotspot is now taking root where heritage, culture, and innovation reinforce one another.

  • Exclusive guided tours: Let enthusiastic guides (ex-miners) take you through the past, present, and future of the mining site.

Registration

Participation in the guided tours is completely free, but the number of spots per tour is limited. Registration is therefore required.
